Walking exhibition SPEEDY GRAPHITO

For the Fréjus cloister, whose 14th-century painted ceilings are a gateway to all kinds of artistic adventures, Speedy Graphito has come up with an exhibition made up of original works and a stroll down memory lane through the masterpieces of art history.

A pioneering avant-garde artist, recognised as one of the pioneers of the French Street Art movement, Speedy Graphito left his mark on an entire generation by imposing an innovative, hard-hitting style in the early 1980s.

Equally at home in public painting performances or in the intimacy of his studio, Speedy Graphito gives himself heart and soul to his passion in the rush of time. His themed exhibitions follow one another, always offering new and surprising proposals. His trademark is that of a free artist, whose art is joyful and profound, often brightly coloured, and in which he playfully and ironically challenges our systems of perception. In so doing, he has no hesitation in appropriating and hijacking all the imagery of artistic and popular culture, in an almost systematic decoding of our collective unconscious.
